How to return a deceased specimen
Marine Life guarantee.You can order in confidence. All our animals are selected, acclimated, chosen with care for their size and exceptionnal colors, their quality and their health. We guarantee your satisfaction overall. We ensure you to do our best to satisfy you. Delivery guarantee :We ship on mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays. Your orders are delivered within 24 hours in France and 48 hours in Europe. For a shipping on friday (reception on saturday), there is an extra TNT charge (in France exclusively) and delivery does not apply in every town. For Europe, we only ship on mondays and tuesdays, for security reasons. Marine Life will automatically send an email with your tracking number for you to be able to follow your order. Such mails are sent every day, as soon as orders are ready. Availability guarantee :The state of our stocks (number of individuals) is precised on our Internet shop. All animals you see in stocks are immediately available and ready to be shipped. Livestock guarantee :Marine Life guarantees that all animals will arrive alive and will at least live for 15 days, or we will issue a store credit for the purchase price of your lost item (or we will pay you back). Conditions and client duties :Fifteen-day guarantee starts on the initial delivery date.
Customer must sign for package on the first delivery attempt. Unless you request it in the "Commentary" space of your order, we deliver within 24 hours in France and 48 hours in Europe. Our shipping companies generally delive between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. (we cannot choose the delivery hour).
Even if the shipping company is late, you must absolutely sign for package otherwise it will result in a return of your order to Marine Life, which will imply the death of the animals given the delivery delays. You may not refuse a package, in any case.
You must followall acclimating procedures.
Tank’s water chemistry must be within the following parameters :
- Temperature : between 75°and 83° F, and constant.
- Ammonia : 0,0 ppm.
- Nitrite : 0,0 ppm.
- Nitrate : between 0,0 and 30 ppm.
- pH : between 8 and 8,4
- Specific gravity : between 1,019 and 1,025.
We may not be held responsable for the death of a specimen dued to the harassment or agressivity of another fish. You can ensure yourself of the compatibility of species on our technical pages on our Internet shop. Sea urchins are always dangerous, you msut be very careful with this kind of animal. We cannot guarantee your security if you touch them (Use, gloves will not be sufficient).
On request to Marine Life, dead species must be returned.
How to return a deceased specimen.Call or email us immediately within 15 days to report your loss. Be sure to notify your name, telephone number and message.
Placed the deceased specimen in a sealed plastic bag. Sprinkle the specimen with table salt to prevent decay and place it in the freezer.
After having received return authorization by telphone or mail, place the sealed bagin a padded enveloppe or a small box and send the package to the address you will be given. |
